This compact calibre, of completely new design, makes possible the realization of very
small, shaped watches that nevertheless give exceptionally good timekeeping results.
Movement No. 730 was designed to be very rigid and in such a way that all its
components are well-protected. Because of its considerably reduced length it sits
neatly on the wrist and is particularly well-suited for wristlet- and bracelet-watches of
all kinds, whether richly or more sparsely set with jewels. Its lateral windingmechanism
makes this new design a welcome addition to the Omega range of baguette
watches.
