Old lume ? Dull night vision ? Try our new in house lume made from the finest non toxic luminous pigments ( strontium aluminate ). Available in 3 colours/strengths ( with more to come ).
Our lume compound is easy to apply and dries quickly at room temperature and can be thinned for easier application on finer hands.
The colour of pigment will change the strength at which it glows, so below is a guide for colour and usage >
Pigment
- Green ( Brightest )- Traditional - This is the brightest of our lumes and will glow for many hours. Green glow and green under daylight.
- Aqua ( Moderate ) - Modern Diver Style - Not as bright as green but will glow for hours after charging. Aqua glow but off white under daylight.
- Blue ( Moderate ) - Multiple Application - This pigment is white in daylight but glows subtle blue when charged, similar to Swiss brands.
Each vile contains approximately 1.5/2ml of ready to use lume, this is enough for approx 30+ pairs of hands or possibly more. Glow can last upto 8 hours but will fade over time.
All pigments come ready mixed and can be used as is, however for finer hands you can thin the solution with acrylic thinner for a more finer finish.
Instructions
As pigments settle over time the lume must be mixed well prior to use. For finer hands use acrylic thinner fluids. To apply lume we recommend using the applicator listed. To remove lume completely leave parts to soak in acrylic thinner and then wash as per watch cleaning machine or ultrasonic. Do not ingest.
We have three pigments in the range currently but will look to expand into other colourways as well as full kits in the future.
